Biography

Graduated in Building Engineering in 2001 (Politecnico di Milano), he is Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering at the Department of Architecture Built environment and Construction engineering (DABC), Politecnico di Milano. He works in the field of design and verification of technical behaviour and performance of innovative building systems and components, focusing on building envelopes, integration of building services and renewable energy sources systems in nearly Zero-Energy Buildings, timber construction by means of industrial prefabrication techniques and technologies, retrofit of existing buildings. He is author of books, international conference papers and journal articles.
