Edward M Peck is an advocate for high-performance architecture, an educator of informed collaboration and a pioneer of innovative materials.
With more than 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry, Edward has become a leader in innovative and performance driven architecture. His professional history is diverse; he has practiced as an architect, facade engineer and served as the design director for a leading specialty ETFE contractor. From these positions he has gained valuable knowledge from design and engineering to product development, manufacturing and construction. This diverse experience with complex and progressive projects enables him to be an impactful design leader and collaborator.
His national and international portfolio spans a broad spectrum of project typologies including higher education, corporate, cultural, residential and sports and aquatic entertainment venues. In addition to design leadership he is a recognized pioneer of ETFE technologies and an expert in glass technologies and architectural fabrics. This in-depth expertise with innovative building skins makes him a highly sought after technical advisor and educator.
Edward received degrees in building science and architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and teaches architectural technologies and building skin systems in the College of Architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects, a licensed architect registered with the National Council of Architecture Registration Board (NCARB) and a LEED accredited professional.
