Chuck Knickerbocker is the Curtain Wall Manager for Technical Glass Products (TGP), a supplier of fire-rated glass and framing systems, along with specialty architectural glazing products. With more than 35 years of curtain wall experience, Chuck has successfully worked with numerous architects, building owners and subcontractors from development of schematic design through installation.
Prior to joining TGP, Chuck was a Senior Consultant at Curtain Wall Design and Consulting (CDC) in Dallas. His accomplishments include leading the design, engineering and shop and fabrication drawings for eight custom wall systems in the Clinton Presidential Library, along with work on condos, office buildings, and multiple other domestic and international projects. He also led numerous curtain wall projects while working for Harmon LTD, Wausau Metals Corporation and others.
Chuck is the past chair of the GANA BEC committee and served on the Building Information Modeling (BIM) committee. His past work includes contributing to the preparation of the GANA Sealant Manual and Blueprint Reading and Labor Estimating Course study guide. He is a regular contributor to the USGNN blog on glass and framing.
