Today's leading design and fabrication workplaces each have a specialized digital pipeline or workflow to meet the needs of documentation, coordination, visualization and quantification. Although we're persuaded to believe that one tool can do it all, the very diversity of our industry resists that kind of singularity, relying instead on the interoperability of multiple software platforms. Nowhere is the need for digital interoperability more pronounced than during the handoff from architect to contractor to fabricator. Join Phil Kolbo of Populous, Chini Murali of Permasteelisa, Ryan Rademacher of RadiusTrack, and Alex Terzich of HGA and the University of Minnesota as they explore projects like the new Populous-designed Allianz Field soccer stadium, SHoP's Uber Headquarters, and DS+R's US Olympic Museum to help illustrate this and other themes that are central to advanced digital technology in the facade industry.
