The Facade Tectonics Institute has issued a call for papers for its 2016 Annual Conference and inaugural World Congress, which will include speaking and poster presentations, panel discussions, workshops and exhibitors. A minimum of five tracks are planned over two days, including 25 sessions and 75 speaker presentations. Abstracts, papers and presentations will be subject to rigorous peer review as a condition of acceptance to the conference proceedings. Those interested are encouraged to submit an abstract by the March 7th deadline.

Paper selection will aim to be inclusive of a broad range of topics as a means to support a similarly wide-ranging and robust conference dialogue. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Authors of select papers will be invited to present in one of the conference sessions. Themed sessions will be organized in response to the papers received.

Full manuscripts (papers of 4000 words or less) must be received by June 6. A template for papers will be provided. Papers will be blind peer reviewed. Accepted papers will either be accepted as is, or returned with reviewer comments and a request for revision. Revised papers must be returned by the final submission deadline.
Membership is required as a condition of final acceptance of completed manuscripts. The Institute is running a special 50% discount on membership for anyone submitting an abstract. Individuals that are employed by member organizations are not required to have individual memberships in order to submit an abstract.
Conference registration is required by the June 6 submission date for full manuscripts as a condition of final acceptance. The registration rate is $345, representing a 50% speaker’s discount from the $690 full conference registration price. Event registration will be opening soon, and instructions will be provided.
